Napster strikes MoU with Takamol Holding at U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum

Amidst a gathering of global heads of state and technology titans at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, Napster signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Takamol Holding, a partnership aimed at accelerating the deployment of artificial intelligence and digital transformation within Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was inked during the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum, an event that brought together political leaders including President Donald Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as well as industry titans such as Elon Musk and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Attendees described the atmosphere inside the center as "incomparable," characterizing the forum as a convergence of two nations moving to align their economies on the future of innovation.

“‘Every single person not only wanted to discuss AI and its potential impact but wanted to get moving with it – the talk is over, and now it’s about action,” Stephen O’Shea, Napster’s Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Operations, said of the Forum. “We definitely are at the right place, the right technology, the right time, and it’s up to us to evangelize ourselves and execute because the world needs our product and wants our product.”

The Takamol Collaboration

The MoU establishes a framework for Napster and Takamol, a Saudi entity focused on socio-economic development and labor market solutions, to jointly build and deploy these technologies. O’Shea joined Takamol CEO Ahmad Al-Yamani to sign the deal amid a day that saw $270 billion in deals done, according to Trump.

“We were in the epicenter of innovation and investment for both Saudi Arabia and the United States of America,” O’Shea said. “The titans of technology were all assembled at this Forum, and they all had a chance to speak and share their insights.”

The partnership is the result of extended collaboration between the two organizations. Samuel Huber, Napster’s CEO of MENA, and Frank Furnari, Napster’s Vice President of Saudi Arabia, were instrumental in facilitating the agreement on the ground. The technological infrastructure supporting the deal is led by Napster CTO Edo Segal, whose team has developed the conversational AI stack that allows users to engage with thousands of unique AI agents, a core component of the value proposition for Takamol.

The deal positions Napster as a partner in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, moving beyond entertainment to provide essential digital infrastructure for the region's economic transformation.

“In Saudi Arabia, Napster’s long-term investment and focus is clear: Support Saudi Vision 2030 in a practical and meaningful way. That means helping organizations innovate, go digital, and adopt advanced technologies in line with the Vision 2030 pillars of a Vibrant Society, a Thriving Economy, and an Ambitious Nation,” Furnari said. “That’s why our collaboration with Takamol is so important. Together, we’re developing Saudi-first solutions for skills, training, and digital services; designed in the Kingdom, for the Kingdom, and aligned with the priorities of Vision 2030 and beyond."
